im Loving the M1A and im thinking its definitely going to be my next purchase after i get my AR in
Im looking them up currently and i know exactly how i want mine to look and Sage has the ebr look i love and want but i was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what this is and the price as i am still new to the gun world. http://www.gun-world.net/usa/r/m14/ebr_m1a2.jpg is that a stainless kit or aluminum or what? and price please if anyone here knows that info thanks. |

The SAGE stock is made mostly from aluminum, as are most of the add-on rails. The grips and handguards are made of polymer.
Fulton Armory lists a complete SAGE set at $787. I might suggest you roam around the Equipment Exchange M1A/M14 pages looking for a deal on a new or used set. |
Remember when buying a SAGE that there are different versions. Ie: the MOD0 stock that you have pictured, or theres the MOD1 stock with the AR back end. The Mod1 is a little lighter than the mod0 but is less adjustable (cheek piece is fixed on the mod1. You also need to figure out what size M1a you want to put in it. Also note that the Sage is only able to contain a light barrel'd m1a unless you call them and get the right peices (not really a hassle just something to make note of). GL  They are Awesome!!!!

thanks guys i really appreciate the info i needed that and am already learning some.....i love these soooooo much, if the ammo was a bit cheaper i would say screw it and just get this now i think, but i want to but out the rounds like crazy at first
i am in LOVE tho.....that Sage EBR look is great but i plan to get the "Loaded" version with the stainless barrel but this has my attention badly also...omg decisions decisions, what a beautiful rifle!
