I am looking for thoughts and pics on how your Troyd' M14/M1A battle rifle is set up. Let's see what you got! Thanks, JD

I have a Socom 16 in a Troy MCS. I love the looks and the rails, but its a bit heavy and a pain to take apart to clean. I went from box stock to a Vltor M1A Modstock with cluster rail to the MCS. I still have the Modstock, been thinking about changing back, or maybe even buying another M1A to put in the Modstock. I recently changed some parts to try to lighten it up. If i remember correct its just under 12 pounds with an empty 20 round mag in it. I'll get some pics and post them.

Troy MCS
Vltor Modstock
TangoDown battle grip
TangoDown vertical grip
GG&G BUIS
Nightforce NXS 1-4x24 in a GG&G mount
Surefire M951 light
Troy midievel flash suppressor

All stock inside except for a recoil buffer. I have some parts on order from Smith Enterprise. I have a Vltor Modpod for it aswell.

EDIT: Pics added
