| I searched and didn't see anything, what is the opinion on Federal Ordnance M14sa rifles? |
|
My cousin bought one years ago, back before I was buying guns, and a couple of summers ago we took it out and from the bench off the sandbags it ended up shooting about a ragged 1" hole with five shots, iron sights. That was of course with 168 Sierra MKBTHP in front of 45 gr. of varget.
I was freakin amazed1 After I shot it, he did, and couldn't do better than about 2-3" and was not happy. He is about 10 years older though and the old race against aging eyes is getting to him.
His shot well, thats all I know about them. |
| If the model number on the receiver is M14 or M14A, it was designed to accept a USGI bolt. If the model number is CSA14 or M14SA, it was designed to accommodate a Chinese bolt. We finally pieced this together by matching the receiver model numbers and serial numbers combined with information gathered from Bob Brenner (Owner of Federal Ordnance) and Robert Thomasser (VP of Federal Ordnance). |
