Hi, I don't have an M1A myself and don't know anybody who does. I've always been curious about the stripper clip guide on the M14/M1A...I see it a lot, it gets mentioned a lot, but I haven't actually ever found any kind of record, in any form, that anybody has ever actually used it.
I was wondering if any of you could point me to a video of someone using it?

If I could find a pro-gun videographer local to me, I could do a bunch of educational YT videos on the M14.

See the attached photo from my web site.  This is not a cartrdige clip guide but the first version A.R.M.S. # 18 scope mount that allowed use of a stripper clip.  It works in the same manner as the installed cartridge clip guide on the M14 receiver.

Well thanks for the photo, it's more than I've gotten so far. But nobody else can provide any kind of video, or even photo, of someone uses the default clip guide?

That makes no sense... why make a scope mount that you can use the clip guide if you have to take the scope off to use it

Oh wait, it's from Swan... now I get it...
