The screw that secures the front sight on my M1 Garand, is stuck, or frozen. I've tried soaking it in gun oil overnight, but it still won't budge. Any advice on how to get it loose without damaging anything?

heat it, not red, but heat it.

Thanks for the advice. Was just about ready to hit it with some heat, when it finally broke loose.
