I picked up a Poly off another member here. Unfired, beautiful rifle. Anyway while cleaning the cosmo out of it I realized the rear sight wasn't working properly. I cant figure that out and was going to order new sights anyway..... Here is the funny part. Look closely.

The Chinese machinist may have been a little tanked on rice wine that day!

Those crazy Chinese.  If you weren't paying attention, that would make for some frustration while getting it sighted in.

I have a Norinco and the rear sight was junk. Wasted some ammo trying to zero........and get it to stay there. Most Chi Com owners replace the sight with USGI. If you want some Chinese sight part's drop me an e mail

All of my China girls wear USGI rear sights... I will eventually use one of SEI's NM rear sight assemblies.

Maybe they don't get the M14's right, but they get everything else right.

Except for a few issues, they got the M14s mostly right.

I just ordered the SAI sight parts I needed from Brownells. I get a discount and had a bunch of coupons. Anyway, now all I need to find is a flash hider. I might order one from the guys making the new m14 receiver.

GI is too rich for my blood.
