Just wondering if anyone here has had a similar experiance with the CMP.
On Dec 30, 2009, order mailed for 2 Inland rack grades and 1 Underwood rack grade. Mailed order received Jan 4, 2010, notice states to expect 60 - 90 days to fill order. Received email notice Jan 27, 2010 stating order shipped over night express. Jan 28, 2010, receive call from FedEx to come pick up 3 packages from CMP. 24 days total from receipt of order form to delivery of packages! Here I was fully content & expecting to wait at least 2 months. What a great suprise!!!! Now I have to wait until quitting time to haul butt over there & get my new toys. MLG |

MLG Yeah, they seem to be operating a break neck speed. Got my two Garand Specials in less than 1 month from mailing to delivery. Just ordered a Bavarian Rural Carbine... |
Poo, here I was thinking my case was special or something.
in any case, I'm still pumped. A nice change from my last M1S order that I was told 4 weeks and had to wait 6 months. Then I make an order from what amounts to the government, was told 3 months & only had to wait 3 weeks. A rather odd reversal. Can it be that our government has a program that actually works the way it was conceived? MLG |
