Orest has said there are NO MORE CARBINES in the pipeline . If you want one you'd better get it now!

All the Service Grade are SOLD OUT.  Just rack grade.  Wow... No more Service Grade M1 Carbines.  Glad I got mine when I did.
Or you can buy one on auction, but they are boku bucks for those..  There is always gunbroker...

The Koreans are selling some of their Carbines. Condition will be a big guess and price will likely be more than CMP prices. I would look for a Service Grade Carbine on Gunbroker.

The previous Koreans were maintained terribly and complete garbage from what I was told FYI. CMP wont touch them.

The Blue Sky M1 Carbines were Korean imported Carbines. Condition varied but there were some nice ones. My biggest complaint was the repark they put on them.

My Blue Sky is quite nice, definite repark.

Ya, my Blue Sky Carbine looked real nice to (reparked) it had MW of 6
Finally got it rebarreled a few years ago.
Good thing is I only paid $150.00 for it in the early 1980's

I got mine last summer ('08) from the North Store.  I still have not shot it.  30 Carbine ammo and brass is just now becoming available again.

Standard Products carbine. It has a 12/43 Underwood barrel. The barrel and the chamber measured just over 1.

I'd like to know how you measured the chamber??

Maybe I used the wrong term, I guess it's actually called a throat gauge.  Sorry.

I  know what a Throat Guage is but I dont beleive they make a TW gauge for the carbine, ony a MW gauge.

You may be right. All I know is the very old guy at the counter at the North Store stuck a throat wear gauge in it and said it was just over 1. Maybe he stuck a 30-06 TW gauge in it and eyeballed it based on experience. I don't know.

He was either guessing or pulling you leg .  TW on a carbine isnt a issue anyways as the cartridge isnt high power like the 30.06 so there isnt excessive wear
