How hard are these to install? I want to replace the S.A. mount that came on a M1A I recently acquired.

Very easy, use purple locktite and don't over torque the bolt.

Installation is not overly complicated or involved, and some levels of adjustment are available should the receiver be slightly OOS. And, should it be necessary, Sadlak will custom machine the mount to fit your rifle for a small fee.

It's harder to load aim and fire your M1A. Than it is to install one of these mounts.

If your ordering a new one, it will come with the the instructions and loc-tite. It took me about 45 mins to install my mount, after being up for 26 hours. Nothing to it.
