I've seen some of this stuff showing up lately. I'm wondering if it is any good & if it's safe to use in an M1A?

I kinda wondered when it turned out to be cheaper than WWB.

Thanks for the answer.

I bought a case last year. It is about half as accurate as Wolf. Not impressive for the price.

I like the magtech. it has proven to be 2-4 MOA open sight and 2-3 with scope. Lot year 74,76,77 all shoot to the exact same point of impact for me at 100-200-300. Absolute no zero shift...
It is actually Brazillian and stay away from lot year 75!

As in 1974, 1975 ect...?

The stuff I'm talking about is brand new.

It is packed in blue and white boxes 50 rounds per case and it says lot 74 etc. It has a head stamp of CBC. I have not seen any new production stuff, just this repacked...

Ive shot some.

For plinking ammo, its ok.  Accuracy is ~2-3MOA, and the brass is reloadable.  If you can get it for a decent price, go for it.

Still Brazilian and still junky.
Current ammunition is made in a commercial plant set up by Remington.

AFAIK surplus military ammunition cannot be imported any longer.

Okay, that must what the "L-70" means. I didn't know that. I just assumed it was new.

Thanks.

That's mainly what I was looking at for, since primers are scarce & I want to get some trigger time with my M1A.
