I know the War Baby series is the go-to for the M1 Carbine, but what is everyone's opinion on a do-all book on the M1 Garand?

Scott Duff's series,  his Red book covers WWII, and the blue covers post war, (red/blue is the color of the cover)

also Hatcher's Notebook, and Hatcher's Book of the Garand are good to have,

The skinny blue Duff book covers all M1's.

It's "The M1 Garand Serial Numbers and Data Sheets".

Another great book is-The M1 Garand 1936-1957, 5th edtion, revised, by Joe Poyer and Craig Riesch

I use it all of the time. It breaks every part down, to every serial number, drawing and revision number.
