I have read the instructions, but I am unsure what ther factory setting is. Do I screw it all the way down and then out or leave it out and screw it down?. When ever I get it set I am supposed to screw in the set screw right?. Can I shoot Remington 150 GR SP ammo with this plug? I want to hunt Hogs with it.

I have the same plug for all three of my Garands. Install it then head for the range. I hope you have a two round clip! Anyway, fire the first round...nothing should happen. Screw in down one or two clicks at a time until the rifle cycles properly. Piece of cake. 
Yes, the Remington ammo will be just fine. Remember though, if you change ammo, (wt., brand, anything), you start over again. Have fun and good luck hunting! Mike |
