How do you tell if your M14 M2 bi pod is USGI or not ? Mine is marked " BIPOD RIFLE M2 , Thanks

Does it have a stock number? If not, I'd say no. You know that even GI toilet paper has a stock number!

There is no drawing number which leads me to think it is not GI. It does not have the Chinese "WMI" marking though..

If there's no part number on the bipod, it's not USGI.

The GI ones are brazed together and not welded like the aftermarket ones.
