my dad wants to order a bunch of ammo from the CMP. He is a vet, but is also over 60. it says no proof of live fire training or anything for ammo. what exactly is needed if he wants to mail in an ammo order?

A photocopy of his birth certificate OR passport to prove citizenship and age.

A photocopy of his DD-214 to prove vet status / marksmanship qualification.

A photocopy of valid member card from a CMP affiliate club or organization.

would a drivers license suffice? and does it all need to be notarized as well?

Must get the Notary form, no big deal except a PIA. The site has a very clear list.

Notary wasn't hard to do..............go to the bank.

My bank...........Bank of America...........did it for me, FREE.  I have an account there.
