I will put up some pics when I get home.  My brother is a member but can't get to the store.  I picked out a Springfield Correct Grade Garand for him.  Looks like they are almost brand new, except for a few small dings in the wood.

I nabbed myself a Service Grade, took me about an hour of going thru them all.  It wasn't the prettiest but it kept calling my name and I kept going back to it.

I also nabbed an 03 Springfield with an S Stock and leaf sight.  The rifle is absolutely covered in cosmo, but what I can see looks good.  The barrel measures at about 1 3/4 with a brand new gauge.  I think it was so filthy nobody took a good look at it.

I also got 2 192 round cases of the Greek with the enbloc clips and 6 Inland marked M1 carbine mags for $12 each.

If I can muster the funds I had them set aside a M1 carbine that had the low wood stock and a flat bolt, with nice wood.

2 racks full of carbines, a full rack of Correct Grade HRA Garands, half rack of Correct Grade Springfield Garands, half rack plus of M1917s.  Full rack each of Service Grade Springfield and HRA's.  It was funny a good chunk of the Service Grade Springfield Garands had HRA bolts and vice versa.  A decent selection of Krags but all marked with X Grade to prevent shooting them.  Probably 40% of the Service Grade Garands had CMP stocks on them.  While they looked nice they just didn't feel right.

For $5000 they had a M1D sniper rifle in a glass case.

How about the 1903a3's? Good selection?

Thanks!

Petro,
Not many left of the 03A3's.  Probably the slimmest selection of any rifle they had.

Did you see any Winchesters?
I have been to Anniston several times over the last few years. It is always a pleasure.

Here are some pics.  The Garand Service Grade metal looks pretty good but wood is typical:

The Correct Grade looks darn near brand new:

I am really happy with the 1903.  Degreased the stock and metal.  Put a little Red Oak stain on the wood and BLO:

I'm going to be making a trip up there soon I think. How did the field grades look? Not sure I can afford a Service grade so I might just try to find a nice field grade.
