[ARCHIVED THREAD] - HRN?

I have a trigger assembly in my Springfield M1A standard that came with it labeled HR(which I know is harrington and richardson) and another part labeled HRN, is that some sort of division of HR? Sorry if this is a newbie question, but im curious to find out what it actually is.

Unknown, but possibly "Nichols Machine". HR outsourced some parts, and maybe the "N" in the (WIN) OM-N is Nichols too?

Credit Differents research and books for the info.

HR-N was a subcontractor to Harrington & Richardson.
