It's nothing too special. Here's the specs:

Ruger 10/22 Carbine:

-VQ hammer kit ($34 and brings the pull down to around 3 lbs)
-Sling swivel studs (I drilled for them)
-Uncle Mike's QD 1.25" sling swivels
-M1907 sling
-Tech sights TSR100 sights

I screwed up installing the front sight so I had the gunsmith finish the job for me (and he used some red loctite). The Tech Sights are made in Taiwan and are made out of aluminum. With the TSR100 model, windage is adjustable at the rear only and elevation is adjustable at the front only. The Tool available from Tech Sights is pretty much mandatory for adjusting the sights.

They're not conducive to consistent accuracy.

I do see that you put in separate studs for the sling, but tension on the forearm is going to be transmitted to the barrel through that band.

Dont forget the washer free float.

Place a washer in between the stock and action at the action screw.

The washer provides a bit of evelation that will float the barrel.

Cool. I'll have to give that a try after a bit.

Does anyone know how I can fill those sling swivel stud holes on the side of the stock?

If your sling works for you, that's cool.

I set mine up so that I can jam the keepers down against my arm in a tight sling.
My frogs are also facing out. It's easier for me to get at them when I change positions.

When I use a deliberate sling, I move that rear keeper forward, put my arm through, and then pull the keeper back against my arm. I have it over the frog for carrying.
