I picked up an HRA M14 op rod that does not have a hole drilled in the end. All op rods I have seen have the hole, is this good, bad or dosent matter? Thanks  in advance for any info on this.  Gene

It is an early op rod, it is fine. Don't worry about it. The hole was added later as a drain point for waterborne ops....
