After years and years of shooting only ARs I've moved on.
I wanted more power and punch, plus shooting the same
round as my sniper rig (308). I love this new gun, it's a little
more heavy but I don't mind the weight.

Only a "little more heavy"? Are you talking about it being heavier than your precision rifle or your AR?
Welcome to the MBR side of things. I just made the jump a few months ago myself. Lots of good info around here for the M14. How's the eye relief for the ACOG work out with that set up? I'm still trying to figure out what kind of optic to run on my LRB Tanker.

A little more heavy for me. I'm not the average gun shooter.
I'm a fitness fanatic! If the guns to heavy lift more weights!
Love the ACOG, no issues. I may add a pigyback mini dot
to the ACOG. Plus I gotta add a set of irons

I never messed with the Troy stocks so I can't comment on how much I do or do not like them. I am using a Sage M30 for a DMR type build and plan on getting a Sage with the "M4" buffer tube so I can run an AR style collapsable stock. The reason I like the Sage chassis so much is their ability to still use the factory iron sights. Not knocking BUIS at all as I run them on my personal AR as well as my issued A4 but I figured they are already great sights why get different ones.

Not much to look at right now. I've got a M39 standing by until after deployment that I will be using in a DMR build. Looks like every other M39 chassis (lonely without a rifle to house). I still haven't ordered the chassis for my Tanker. I was about too but then I ended up buying an IR laser from 44mag.com instead. Going to have to save up for a paycheck or two before I can get the stock.
H2Oman should by by later. He has some great photos of different M14's in Sage stocks.
