I was checking on price for an excellent condition Polytech M1.  Found one and the guy is wanting $1400 for rifle, 1000 rounds of ammo, and 4 mags.  What are the Polytechs selling for now days?  Thanks!

I researched the Polytech's a while back, haven't looked at anything recently, but everywhere I looked and asked, people were saying that they had found and bought thier rifles somewhere between 500-700 or so.

That's WITHOUT all that ammo, depending on what kind of ammo it is, the last 140 round battle packs I bought were 65 bucks each, so do the math and that's at least 400-500 bucks in ammo.

That makes the gun 900-1000 bucks, which is what I kept seeing guys selling them for even though everyone was telling me they were buying them for around 700.

I bit the bullet and picked up a used Springfield Armory for 1300 instead.

Good luck.

The ammo is worth $500+ and the going rate for a ChiCom M14 is about $1K ~

Chi com rifle's are junk. I will buy them all to save you the embarassment of owning one.

Everyone that thinks that the chinese rifles are that cheap are out of touch. $800-$1100 seems to be the normal price range.

I just got one off of gunbroker for $823.

As far as the battlepacks go, $70 is realistic, however some idiots at the Knoxville gun show had the for $119 a pack. WTF!
