I was curious what this is. I know it's unique to the rifle.

While we're on it, what are the receiver and gas lock ring threads?

M14: .595"-32 tpi.

AR10 and Rem 700 Tactical: 5⁄8"-24 tpi

AR15/M4/M16 (5.56 mm): ½"-28 tpi

AR15/M4/M16 (6.8 mm): 9/16"-24" tpi

FAL: 9⁄16" - 24 tpi LH thread


BTW, you can find it in the Brownells catalog in the part description of the muzzle attachments.
