Went to Bald Mountain DNR range today at 3:30. Weather was nice, range was quiet. One other guy was there, shooting a sporterized Krag. The guy could shoot, at 100 yards he was getting 1-2" groups with irons. I took my new CMP Garand, service grade. I fired 72 rounds (one for each virgin), and while I am no match grade shooter, I think the rifle has pretty good capabilities. Photo below is of a 6" shoot-n-see.
