[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMP Stock sets

What's the general consensus on the quality of these. Do they have the WW2 or Post WW2 contour? I know they're made by Boyd's but does CMP get them made to a higher standard?

They are Boyds. I have been told that the early deliveries had the dimensions worked down on them before they were finished. What Dupage Trading referred to as "WWII contour". I don't know if that is true for all the stocks delivered to the CMP.

My dad got a CMP stock set. The buttstock fits nice--more like a WWII than a post-war profile. The handguards were still a little beefy though.
