I don't want to call LRB and waste their time because I am not in the market for another M14 at this time.  Might be in the future if I can get a answer to this.   LRB shows a retail price and dealer price.  If you order directly from LRB which do you pay or is it something in the middle?  I hear $2000 bantered around a lot as around the price of a LRB M14.  I know builds are going to very depending on what you want but lets say for a standard M14  Like this one

Gov't Issue and Tanker Rifle Prices

DEALER.........................................................................$2,139.00

RETAIL..................................................$2,459.00

Government Issue-  Pictured above, assembled with all USGI parts except flash suppressor.  Criterion or Wilson NM quality standard weight barrel.  Your choice of birch or walnut original GI stock.  Add $30.00 for GI fiberglass stock.  Includes 10  round magazine, used sling, field manual FM 23-8.

Thanks,
Mike

I recently bought a standard 22" rifle from them. It has all H&R parts, usgi fiberglass stock, badger spring guide, and NM sights minus rear base. It was just under $2200.00 shipped.

That puts it close to dealers prices.  If I had known that I might have sprung for one.  I have no complaints with the Fultons I bough but the price of the LBR is just about the same as the Fultons.

Who is this LBR you speak of?

My LRB ran me around $1900, but I supplied the barrel.

I forgot to mention, don't be hesitant for a second to call LRB. Lou and Paul are GREAT people, both friendly and knowledgeable.

First time I called them to ask a quick question I ended up talking to Lou for about 20 minutes.

If I remember correctly I paid around the dealer price for mine.  A big +1 for actually calling LRB.  They are good people.  If you don't want to call, they also do email.  I guarantee you won't regret buying one.

Don't call.  Leave them alone.  I'm in line for one now and I want them to concentrate.  Build, Build Build...

What I did was email Lou and told him that if he gave me the dealer price I would order a rifle. He replied within 24 hours agreeing. That was back when Dealer for a complete Scout was $1900.

BTY, I too alway do the LRB, LBR thingy.
