With that document you can find the age of your 1903, 1917, M1 or any other Springfield (or contract) rifle. I had previously found that my Garands were made in 42 and 53, but just now found out that my '03 was made in '42, and my '17 was made in '18! Comming in 11 years- I will be throwing a 100th birthday party for my M1917! |
