Anyone have an idea of how much a GM M2 carbine is worth?  Great condition.

LEGAL????
As a wild guess, an original GM Inland M2 would be worth at least $8,000 to $15,000, probably more.

Due to gun laws, full-auto weapons prices are skyrocketing wildly.

NON-REGISTERED, it's worth about 10 years in Federal prison.

Can't you get an M2 amnesty registered as a curio & relic? Otherwise it's a felony to own it unless it's already registered.

Around $6-7,000 is what I see them going for.
If you are buying it for a shooter, you are better off getting a registered trigger pack.

You sure it isn't an M1 with a 30 round mag?

It's a M2 for sure.  I have a C&R FFL.  Is there a way to get it registered if it already hasn't been?

No. You are out of luck.

No new MG's for civilians since 1986.

Best best: shut your mouth.

If it ain't registered before 1986, forget about it.
If you can't find papers, get in touch with a good firearms lawyer.
Have him get in contact with the ATF, and have them check their records for it.
If you don't have paperwork, but they do, it is legal.

Does it actually say "M2" on the receiver??  Some Carbines were stamped as such, but most were M1s that were just convert.  If it has the stamping, you may be out of luck.
