I just got back from the South Store and thought I would give you an update. The Garands look ROUGH. My friend and I searched the whole store to find 4 rifles. I am used to the old days where you could go find a MW of 1 with 15 min of looking. They had quite a few 1917s out, and some good looking ones too. I passed since I got one last weekend. The 03s were in short display. There were a few high number SAs with the C stock, and a few low SN SAs for sale, but that was it. There were more 1917s than 03s. So, in short, the Garands are starting to thin out, if you dont have one, you might want to get one. A new thing they had was a large rack of Garand barrels for sale from $100-200. |
