Anyone have the link to the dishwasher method of degreasing and cleaning a CMP stock?

Thanks in advance

It is easy, just take everything off the stock.  Put it in the dishwasher with some regular old dishwasher soap and let it run on pots & pans cycle and air dry.  I did this with an SKS stock turned it on before I went to bed and in the morning I had a good looking clean stock.

Spray it down with easy off oven cleaner first and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes rinse with hot hot water.
Then stick it in the dish washer with the dryer off run it through take it out let the stock dry for a few day's then finish

i dont even bother with the oven cleaner.... just take all the rifle parts off (you can leave the stock ferrule and other built in metal parts on there) and toss it in the dishwasher.  let air dry, then sand it down with 1000 grit paper and/or 0000 steel wool... about 3 coats of BLO and you're good to go

Never tried this myself, but there is the paper towel wrap in a hot vehicle method..

Finally tried the "wrap stock in paper towels, put in black garbage bag & place on dash of vehicle on a hot day" degreasing method.

All I can say is WOW!!!

Had the interiors of the handguards & stock stuffed with paper napkins & wrapped everything with paper towels. The bag was on the dash of my truck all day. It's unreal how hot the wood got, and how much grease came out.
