| any reason to not buy a socom 16 over other springfields? i like smaller guns and cannot have a flash supp in ny so i cant swap out muzzle brake like you can on a scout anyway. pros and cons of this rifle please. it would be my first m1a |
| I bought a SOCOM 1 and like it very much. The front Trijicon sight broke off on my first time out with it, but SA sent me out a replacement right away. Seems to run well on everything I have fed it so far. Muzzle flash not bad when using Aussie surplus but I get 4 foot fireballs using reloads with BLC2 powder. I would like to find a pistil grip stock and a load that does not singe the hair of everyone around me when fired. |
