As usual my stupid ass, has to ask another newbie question. I took Karstens advice from the other thread and I'm about to pick up some military surplus ammo. I was wondering how this is?

I have no first hand experience with this ammo. I do know that when a vendor lies to me, as they have done in this ad, I have no interest in doing business with them.

You, of course, are free to do as you think best.

Hrm, any where you can recommend me to buy good Surplus .308? I'm looking to get anywhere between 500-1,000 rounds for now.

For $20 more dollars you can get 980 rounds SA surplus (80's production) in battle packs.  It's actually cheaper than this ZV stuff on a per round cost.  Great function, accuracy on par with most other mil surplus ammo (3-4MOA).

AimSurplus has it.

edit to add:  IMHO...yes.  It always goes bang for me and the price is still pretty good.  I sure do miss 5 years ago, price wise.
