Here is my little baby! My first M1 Carbine build (so far). With the prices of M1 Carbines through the roof and all the carbine receivers gobbled up in record time from the CMP I resorted to build my own. I have about $600 into it but it is truely mine.
Here is what I have so far;
Inland early 1945 production receiver, Inland late 1944 barrel, Winchester trigger guard, slide and flat bolt, small parts of various GI manufacture and a SA M2 stock (which will replaced by a Inland WWII stock that I have on the way).
I test fired it yesterday and she functions 100%

Nicely done!
It's always heartwarming to see a pile of unloved old parts come together and start going BANG again!
Have fun with it!

Very nice. I was too impatient to build one and bought one last month.
Where did you acquire all of the parts from?

It took ahwile but, I got most of the parts from Gunbroker, a few from Ebay and some from Fulton Armory.

I'll try to post some better pics, unfortunately I'm better at building guns than taking pictures!
