Other than Springfield Armory or Fulton are there any other sources for parts ?
Can't afford to buy a new M1A at one time, thinking about getting one piece at a time and build
It like an AR, plus I think I would learn more by building it than buying a new one.

I am in the process of a build at the moment. Its best to get the main parts from a credible member on  gunbroker ar15.com or m-14forums.com. smaller parts are best bought from USarmory, chestnut ridge or orion. Also go to Billricca.com for some great info.
Unfortunatly, it is definatly more expensive and challenging to build a M14 than it is to build a Ar15. But it is a learning experience. I am almost finished and will post pics when finished. Good luck
