There is a late war (62xxxxx = '45 ?) Inland M1 at the local shop in good surplus condition. It has the ordinance wheel cartouche on the buttstock. I have not checked to see if all parts match as I was just passing through the shop when I noticed it.

It appears to be on consignment with no price tag. Does anyone have an idea of value for these? I looked at the auction sites and I saw a wide range of prices. I'm interested in a wartime carbine, but I don't want to spend a small fortune on it. Thanks.

$5-600. I bet they want $1000.

Never mind. It had no price on the tag because it was the shop owner's rifle. Crap.

It was a really, really nice rifle, too.

If there are no import marks on the barrel they go for $750 around here. A beat up Blue Sky goes for $500.
