A friend of mine at work has a Universal M1 carbine that has a problem. If you insert a 10 rd mag all is well(locks in place). But when you insert a larger mag, any size larger then 10rd the mag will not lock into place. Swithched mag mfg's around and you get the same result. I know that this is a commerical carbine but what would cause this problem. This guy is feed up with trying to make this work. What would this gun be worth with this problem. I might take it off of his hands if I could get it for a song.
