A good friend of mine just got his CMP Garand (Danish Service Grade) most of the parts on it are Beretta but there are no markings on the trigger housing.

Anyone know what make it is ?
Here is a pic of it on the left side next to my HRA

and a little better pic of it next to t he AK

dpmm,

YOu have to take an M1 apart to find the markings on the trigger housing and other parts.....

We'd need to know ALL available markings before we can tell you much...

There are markings on:

Receiver (heel and legs)
Barrel
Bolt
Op-rod
Trigger housing
Trigger guard (sometimes)
Hammer
Trigger
Safety
Both rear sight knobs
Front sight (sometimes)
Gas cylinder (sometimes)
Buttstock (almost always)

Swampy

Here are some of the Markings that I wrote down:

Receiver (heel and legs)..............SA
Barrel....................................... SA
Bolt.......................................... PB
Op-rod......................................PB
Trigger housing..........................No Visable Markings
Trigger guard (sometimes)..........No Visable Markings
Hammer....................................PB
Trigger......................................PB
Safety.......................................No Visable Markings
Both rear sight knobs.................PB

Like I stated it is not my M1, it belongs to a friend of mine. He was just curious as to what kind of trigger housing it has on it since it is not marked.

Does anyone have one like this one?

Thanks

Dan

Boy! That's different looking. Sorry that I can't help though.

Assuming you've taken the housing out of the rifle and can't find a manufacturer's marking, you have a foreign made housing.

US made housings had the maker and the drawing number info on them.
My bet is, it's a Beretta made housing with no marks.
