Who could someone send an M1A trigger group to, to have it made better?

First stage- slightly gritty and somewhat heavy takeup

Second stage-abominable- big jump, then the actual pull, which is slightly heavy. The big jump is what stinks- you never really know when the thing's gonna break.

TIA

I think you can send it to Fulton Armory for a trigger job.  www.fulton-armory.com

Fulton trigger jobs are a rip off , You can do exactly what they do yourself in 5 min or less with a file if you have any mechanical abilities.

Sure, and you can cut diamonds yourself in 5 min or less with a little hammer if you have any mechanical abilites.

The guys at Fulton have never struck me as rip off artists. If you're having trouble with your trigger, these are the guys who can fix it.

There are many people that can tune your TG to NM spec's.
I had SAI tune mine when my rifle was in for warranty work.

Good luck.

You can do it yourself but if you use a "file" you WILL screw it up.

You NEVER EVER use a file on any part of as trigger job.

Fulton uses a belt sander actually, U can use a file for a M1/14 trigger job because it would take HOURS to stone down the hammer hooks.
