I had an LRB M14SA receiver built up into a rifle by Ron Smith and it functions great and there is no complaint in that department. All parts are New USGI Winchester parts. I am having trouble seating mags in the well. I have new Winchester GI mags and a well worn GI mag. The well worn rocks in and out no problem but the new mags require a pretty fair amount of pressure to get them locked and clicked in. I emailed Smith asking about it, but in the mean time I am asking M1A owners in Armory knowledge base if they have experienced this issue and what the cause is as well as the fix.
