I'm looking for a reason to celebrate the death of the "Ass-salt" weapons ban, and would like some advice. I am more of an M1A fan than an AR fan, and I have really been eyeballing the SA SOCOM. If I get it though, I've got to get rid of the stock, put a folding/telescoping stock on it, and the like (Tac sling, rails, etc...). Basically I would be selling a Bushmaster M4gery I use in 3-gun competitions to replace it with such a beast if I can get it in the config. I want. Anyone have info on a stock that can fit my bill for the SOCOM, and do you think it's worth the trouble to switch over since I'm already used to the AR? Thanks in advance. -g |
