Where to buy them from for best product and good price? Wideners used to carry bags of 100 IIRC. EDIT: can't find them on their site. TIA Danny |

Thanks for the offer Arvin. A friend needs some, enough to get him started as soon as we nail down a good Garand for him to buy. It's one in the EE I'm trying to hook him up with. Danny EDIT: Thanks everyone for the input, you are GRRREAT! |

If you have a club that has CMP matches you can usually buy surplus clipped ammo for cheap. He can shoot in the match, use ammo that is vey inexpensive, walk away with clips and empty brass at the end of the match. I think our club charges an extra $2.00 for 56 rds. Most places won't sell you 8 empty clips for $2, let alone loaded clips. |
