Where to buy them from for best product and good price?

Wideners used to carry bags of 100 IIRC.

EDIT: can't find them on their site.

TIA

Now, that's cheap!

Numrich sells a couple of sizes of drums of the things.  A smart thing would be to get a few guys together and buy a drum.

From their web site

Thanks for the offer Arvin. A friend needs some, enough to get him started as soon as we nail down a good Garand for him to buy. It's one in the EE I'm trying to hook him up with.

Danny

EDIT: Thanks everyone for the input, you are GRRREAT!

Minuteman,
Just let me know how many you need to start him out and send me an IM with an address to ship them too. All you would have to pay me is the shipping. I have quite a few. Thanks Arvin

Buy some of the Dane stuff from Ammoman.  They come loaded in the clips.  Brand new and clean ammo and clips.  Once you shoot, youll have a whole bunch of clips.

If you have a club that has CMP matches you can usually buy surplus clipped ammo for cheap. He can shoot in the match, use ammo that is vey inexpensive, walk away with clips and empty brass at the end of the match.

I think our club charges an extra $2.00 for 56 rds. Most places won't sell you 8 empty clips for $2, let alone loaded clips.
