Are we the poor and loutish country relations of the swank and stylish Black Rifle crowd? Are we older and slower of wit? Is it because we are percieved only as "big bore bigots"? Are our dinosaurs of iron and wood a thing of the past? Is it our breath? Are we not men? I say "we" because I will soon join your ranks...I have a TRW M-14 parts kit and an Armscorps reciever gestating in my gunsmith's workshop (birth date unknown, but probably not soon). When she shows up, all glistening in her afterbirth of cosmoline, I will try to liven up this joint...until then I Lurk and Learn... |

Grands and M1As, Fals, Hk91s etc are all great rifles but they are not for everyone. A lot of people say they are heavy and kick a lot harder than their AR15 clones. I own five 7.62x51mm weapons (3 M1A's, an M1 in 7.62 and an 03A3 in 7.62) and one Ar15. 5.56 is fun to shoot but I like my 7.62s even more. But their not for everyone.. Ar15's are like blondes, M14s are like red heads .. need I say more?
