am in the middle of my M1A project.

I have been collecting my parts one by one whenever I get the chance.

I just recieved my Springfield M1A reciever. I had ordered it over 9 months ago and it has just now arrived. ( I actually ordered 2, I dont know if that helped the delay or not.)

I also have a new (well, never used) Winchester marked government barrel. If someone could help me with the markings on the barrel I would be appriciative. (Winchester -7790190-nov-62-30R-)

A USGI operating rod marked with numbers and SAK.

A complete USGI bolt marked with numbers on the top and SA CC1 just below the numbers.

And a complete trigger group marked with numbers and TRW.

I have sights, other parts but still need to get several more. I am well on my way.

If some of you can give me an idea if I have good USGI parts. Or if I need to get something else. Please comment.

Any U.S.G.I. parts are fine. They were all "lowest qualified bidder" and they all had to meet the same specifications.

well the 7790190 is the drawing number (part number) the nov-62 is of course the date... and the 30R is the barrel heat lot code
