I am no expert but I believe my understanding is correct.
Right now you have permission to build, just a stamp, it could take a year, you currently have no NFA item. Update your schedule when you are done building and engraved. I am sure others will be along shortly to confirm (or call me an idiot). |

Doesn't matter. Schedule A is just an inventory for you to keep, so anybody that's part of your trust/estate will know what property it controls.
FWIW...I update mine as soon as it's approved, with the approval date noted on the Schedule A. The updated copy stays at home, and on my phone. I only send the original Schedule A to the ATF, and it has nothing but $200 cash. |
