Sbr cycles suppressed fine. Unsuppressed supers tend to double feed a lot. Wat do?
BTW I'm using a troy pdw stock so changing buffers is not an option. I was actually thinking of cutting the spring down a little bit. |

I only had twenty subs so I didn't even bother shooting them unsupressed. I have eight left I could try that next time I hit the range, but I'm guessing they won't cycle at all. ETA: Its a little confusing so here Suppressed Supersonic: Yes! Suppressed Subsonic: Yes! Unsuppressed Supersonic: Lot of double feeds Unsupressed Subsonic: Didn't even try. |

Should I maybe take this to the build it yourself forum? Good clarification. I don't have enough experience to even make a guess. Heres the ARFCOM FAQ on double feeds: http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=113 Are you getting a proper double feed (two live rounds) or an FTX (one stuck in chamber, live round behind it)? |
