I am working on a SBR with a 8.5 in barrel. For those of you who shoot shorties, is it better to use a H2 buffer or a silent buffer spring from JP enterprises? The caliber is a 300blk (of course) and was wondering. Also, I plan on running 220gr subsonic with a suppressor. Thanks to all.

I use an H buffer in mine.

running a suppressed 10.5 (5.56 not a .300).... getting ready to order an adjustable gas block.
The standard carbine buffer wasn't happy with the extra gas...
