| I'm waiting on my stamp and need some help. I have a 9.5" barrel. I want to run the Noveske NSR 9 rail. I will be running the Silencerco Omega. Will this rail work for this? Also does anyone have any SBR pics of this configuration? |
| You are likely going to have trouble given how new the can is. You could try the supressor forum or maybe one of the industry partners that sells both vendors stuff. Worst case scenario, call Trading Place Pawn in Monroe. He may have both items in stock and you can see for yourself. |
| It may have issues. The NSR isn't particularly large diameter and the Omega isn't small. A 9.5" barrel will probably have the barrel threads start just inside the end of the rail. The can doesn't go all the way to the back of the mount but it will be close. It may depend on whether the NSR is actually 9" or a little longer like many. |

The NSR I.D. is 1.375". The S.Co. Omega O.D. is 1.560" so as long as your suppressor is forward of the front of the rail, you will be fine.
If your barrel is actually 9.50" you will have space to mount the suppressor. I am currently looking for a similar rail to extend over my omega and haven't found one yet. I may modify an existing rail on the lathe. My last setup was a Samson EX (1.560" I.D.) over a suppressor with a 1.50" O.D. Not a lot of space between the rail and can but it worked out fine. Good luck |
