After biting the bullet and making the decision to use a 9" Daniels Defense Lite Rail for the 12.5" 308 build I am working on I placed an order. After waiting for a week for it to ship I contacted the dealer & find out it's back ordered indefinitely then find it is discontinued. Well now I really want one and after a lot of searching place the winning bid for one on ebay only to have it arrive with no barrel nut which is a special fit I hope the dealer can locate the one missing from my shipment but if not I am back shopping.

Please give me some other 9" options in case. I prefer the quad look to a round. Being a new builder I don't know all of the brands or dealers to search.

BTW I am thinking Saker 762 for the can. Also doing a 300blk

I just finished my 12.5" .308 SBR not that long ago. I searched for a handguard for months and couldn't find much of anything shorter than 12" besides the DD 7.62 lite (now discontinued). The one I ended up with and am very happy with is a JL Billet 10.6" m-lok handguard. With the m-lok, you can put rails wherever you like. I currently run it with a YHM .30 cal QD titanium can and a Syrac II adjustable gas block. With a midlength gas system, the gas block barely sticks out at the bottom. It'll get a Saker 7.62 in a couple months when the Form 4 is approved.
