Received my 1st SBR eForm approval back today (email notification): was 94 days from the online application to approval. Not exactly quick, perhaps, but a lot better than paper forms are running at present. For those who have asked about it before-- use it! (if you can). eFoms were just opened up to individuals earlier this year, and based on the ongoing 41P changes I fear will likely only be available for a relatively brief period before this option is no longer available. Now, gotta get that AR lower engraved... S.D. |
| I just filed my first ever Form 1 today! What a tour de force in horrible software interface. It took me quite a while but it is done so I'm not complaining, especially if it takes 90ish days! Congratulations on getting it so quick. I will report back when mine is done so we can compare notes. |

Congratulations on getting it so quick. I will report back when mine is done so we can compare notes. I started my first one around midnight last night, and it took almost 2 hours. Server problems, errors, ran way too slow. Attachment took forever to upload. Finally got through and paid, then it took another 45 minutes to click Sign & Submit and enter my password. Evidently that got fixed...because I did another one about an hour ago and was done in 5-6 minutes. As soon as local shop eFiles my Form 4 and my other lower arrives and I file that one...I'll have 8 in the pipe on my trust. Four by paper (two 1s and two 4s, all went pending in Nov) and four eFiled (three 1s and one 4, hopefully between 12/24 & 1/10). |

Ok when you e-file how do you make the 200.00 payment? Been thinking of getting my trust this week. Pay with credit card. It's the last step. Technically the second to last step...they make you pay before they let you hit Sign & Submit. |

Figures it would be you. ![]() I'm thinking about doing a quick series of screen shots on my next eForm 1 just to give those considering it an idea of what's involved. It's not near as difficult as some people here make it out to be. Just need my lower to get here so I can have the SN to input. |

I've never e-filed, do they want a scanned copy of the trust (with notary signatures)? Yes. It has be less than 3MB scanned into .pdf form. It can be broken up into a max of 10 parts to fit under this 3MB limit. Mine is 3 seperate PDFs. |

you all are seriously getting 3-4 month approvals on e-forms? if that's the case I need to stop procrastinating. Yes. They're currently running 90-100 days. I imagine it's going to get a little worse because every time somebody posts the quick turnaround, multiple people go submit a new one. The fast times now are for when very few we're using EForms. You can check nfatracker.com and look at he ones that show eFile = yes to see examples. The top example right now is 9/24-1/3. Considering 3 holidays in there, plus the government shutdown, that's dang quick compared to paper submissions (most recent example was 3/15 check cashed and 1/2 stamp). |
