All the info I read about is the qualifications to build an sbr
what if the ar 15 I plan to purchase is manufactured as an sbr already? ( 7.5 in barrel) is there any additional paperwork i need other than standard purchasing paperwork? and would i need an ffl license? |

You don't need to be a FFL to make or possess a SBR.
If it's currently a SBR, it'd be transferred to you on a form 4 instead of form 1. Other than that it's the same process. Except instead of paying your money, waiting then building, now you'd pay, wait and then pick up. |
