I was at my local gun store and they had a LWRC SBR on the wall. No big deal and I did not even look at it at first but then the stock caught my eye. It had a shortened buffer tube and a mini sopmod stock. The thing was the neatest thing I have seen in a while when it comes to SBRs. I want one for one of my SBRs.
Where can I get one??? I have checked the LWRC website but they are not listed. I saw an archived thread from summer 2012 that said LWRC was going to start selling them as a kit. Anybody have any other info on these stocks/buffer tubes/etc.??? Thanks |

I've seen these, and I don't get it it.
1. Why would you want your stock to be that short? My SOPMOD on the shortest setting is too short to shoot comfortably, I can't imagine it being shorter. I keep it two notches out. 2. This doesn't seem like a great idea for reliability. It's the exact opposite of what the VLTOR A5 system accomplishes, right? I'd love for someone to explain it to me. There has to be some advantage, it's not like LWRC is a gimmicky company. |
