| Has anyone tried to contact IDENT recently? I called them a few times today to check an order and it rings to voicemail that has an individuals name, not the company. Maybe they are gone for the holidays, but their website doesnt mention it. |

The guys at Ident are really good people, and they're a fairly small operation. Not a one man show or anything, but I think there's about a dozen people that work there. I've been to their shop, and they work laaaate. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're taking a couple days off for Christmas. Don't worry about it unless there's something you need to change about what you're getting engraved before they do it.
...and that makes post 1,000. I spend too much time money here.

I haven't received a response from them in about a week regarding an engraving question. They lost my business. What's your question? It might be something that half the people here could answer. Ident does top notch work, their turn-around is usually 3-4 weeks in my experience, and if you call a couple times or try email, you'll always get someone. They also build rifles, night vision, silencers...I'm sure they do other stuff, too. They've got to be SWAMPED with work right now. If you let a company's level of communication during this idiotic panic phase, during Christmas, determine how good that company is, you'll probably miss out on some good companies. Several companies have temporarily shut their websites (and even phones) down due to the level of business they're getting right now. Would you rather Ident do that? |

I used Gray Laser Engraving, the cost of the engraving was $55 plus shipping. I emailed Mr. Gray, he promptly replied and was very professional. I put the stripped lower in a small USPS Priority Flat rate box w/ Delivery Confirmation (about $6, a little more if you add insurance) and shipped it out to GLE. I received a call from Mr. Gray confirming the arrival of the lower and another call the day he shipped it.
On top of the great customer service and outstanding engraving, the turn around was only 3 DAYS!
